About

Loom beading is an ancient art form that combines both weaving and beading techniques to create a cloth-like, beaded "fabric." In the first session, you'll select a pattern and the bead colors you want. You'll learn how to set up the loom included in your supplies and how to follow a pattern chart. Throughout the session, you'll practice the looming technique so you can finish the length of the beading during the week. In the second session, you'll focus on problem-solving and finishing techniques.

Materials

A $35 materials fee, included in the price of the class, cover a reusable loom, Fireline (beading thread), needles, beads, a clasp, and tutorial.

Class Policies

Ages 14 and up are welcome.

She has previously taught workshops at the Autumn Artist Retreat and at Iron Mountain Arts near Port Gamble.
