About
Whether you're a novice or seasoned quilter, this quilting group is sure to provide inspiration as well as a chance to learn new techniques and how to use the quilting equipment in the studio.
This class will meet on the fourth Tuesday of every month for six months. At each session, the class leader will introduce a quilt block pattern with a new technique to add to your quilting skills. You'll learn:
- Fabric preparation
- Rotary cutting
- Pattern reading and execution
- Sewing blocks with straight seams
- How to use BARN equipment for quilting, including the sewing machines, scan and cut, and AccuQuilt cutter
You'll learn various patterns, such as half-square triangle and flying geese, and create a set of quilt blocks that you can combine into your own quilt.
