About
Unleash your creativity in this five-day glass mosaic camp! Each afternoon, you'll explore mosaic techniques, learn to use a variety of glass-cutting tools, and complete multiple projects, including a gazing ball, garden art, mosaic pendants, and a mosaic mirror. No experience is needed—just bring your imagination!
- Day 1: Prep your gazing ball, design your project, and practice glass-cutting techniques on a small garden art piece.
- Day 2: Learn advanced glass-cutting techniques using grinders and a ring saw, then begin mosaicking your gazing ball.
- Day 3: Finish applying glass to your gazing ball.
- Day 4: Grout your garden art and gazing ball, then create mosaic pendants using Apoxie Sculpt.
- Day 5: Complete a stunning 12-inch-round mosaic mirror with a 5-inch inset mirror, reinforcing all the skills you've learned!
You'll develop essential mosaic skills, including glass cutting, project planning and execution, adhesive selection, working with different substrates, and grouting techniques. By the end of camp, you'll have a strong foundation in mosaics and a collection of unique, handmade pieces to take home!
