Project

Here are some details on this month's projects!

Culinary Arts: Learn to make chicken or vegetable soup along with pumpkin muffins. Students will practice knife-cutting skills, sautéing, and adjusting recipes for personal taste.

Media Arts: Teens will have fun playing improv games where they work together to make up scenes on the spot from random suggestions. They will spend the evening laughing and discovering that it can be fun getting up in front of an audience of their peers.

Metal Fabrication: Learn how to safely use a plasma torch to cut free-form profiles in steel. Follow a pattern of something useful or get creative with something whimsical. All needed safety equipment will be provided.

Print & Book Arts: We will make a small junk journal out of a brown lunch bag and other papers. Then we will decorate and personalize.

Tech Lab: Students will create paper projects and add lights to them. They will be able to choose between their own projects or use available templates.

Woodworking: Learn how to use hand tools — saws, chisels, planes — with precision to make a wooden container you can use to store pencils, brushes or other items.

Casual Crafts: Bring your own project or enjoy the crafts we provide.
