About
Japan's whisky industry started in the early 20th century when the first commercial whisky distilleries were opened, copying almost every aspect of Scotch distilleries. Since then, Japanese whisky has evolved its own traditions and styles, and its popularity has skyrocketed over the past couple decades.
We'll taste a selection of Japanese whiskies and learn how they're made, how they're differentiated from Scotch, and where the industry is headed after its recent period of turbulent growth.
